Pathway Towards Community Driven governance

    Community elections for 7 Guardians & 21 Stellar Councillors. Introduction of veOIK as gateway for proposal ideation & voting

    Expand DAO governance scope to incorporate community led decisions on IP strategy, brand development, and new product developmen

Community & Protocol
Any community member has the ability to contribute proposals & improvements via the Discord channel SN-DAO-COMMUNITY.
Stellar Council
If you're an expert in gaming, DeFi, GameFi, or Web3, you can be nominated to the Stellar Council — a group of 21 respected community leaders who review, shape, and recommend SNIPs to the 7 Guardians for governance voting.
7 Guardians

The Guardians safeguard Space Nation's long-term vision. This group includes 2 protocol members and 5 elite players from the community.

The 7 Guardians review all SNIPs brought forward by the Stellar Council & in Phase 1, will vote to decide the proposal's outcome.

COMMUNITY
In Phase 1, any Space Nation community member has the ability to contribute proposals & improvements via the Discord channel SN-DAO-COMMUNITY. This contribution process will be upgraded after the introduction of governance token staking.

DAO Communication
The Space Nation website is the DAO hub, providing an interface to educate DAO members on the governance process and provide easy access to the channels below in order to streamline the DAO's operation and enhance its utility.
Where Governance Happens
In Phase 1, to fast-track the launch of the DAO, all DAO discussions, proposals, and voting take place in the SN-DAO channel on the Space Nation Discord
As the DAO evolves, governance tools and platforms will be upgraded to better support transparency, scalability, and community participation.
Space Nation Proposal Categories
SNIP Categories
SNIP (Space Nation Improvement Proposal) come in three main categories:
Ecosystem Growth
Proposals related to the ingame activities in Space Nation MMORPG
Brand Growth
Proposals for anything the DAO attaches its name to, including partnering and collaborations.
Process Improvement
Proposals that aim to improve how the DAO operates — such as updates to procedures, decision-making methods, governance guidelines, or tools used by the community.
